Tuesday 25 OctWell I know I had 8 cigarettes last night, because I could see them this morning in what remains of the TV dinner. Particularilly bad coughing fit this morning, with blood, but I don't know if that was because of cleaning my teeth and hurting my gums. No Smoking in bed again, this is quite positive, I used to smoke last & first thing. Monday 24 OctBack to work everyone smokes. I didn't have my normal cigarette in bed, but as soon as I got to work I bought some more tobacco and light one up. I didn't really enjoy it but perceived anyway (WHY did I do that). The day is not over yet, and I have already smoked about 10 cigarettes. I'll try harder the morrow. Sunday 23 OctFeeling good after a low nicotine day, manage to avoid that first fag just after I have woken up. In fact I manage to get to about 2pm before I have my fist fag. Not a bad day I tried throwing away my tobacco, cleaning my ash trays out and giving cold turkey a go. All day I think I smoked about 3 or 4 cigarettes. However sometimes it took me about 3 - 4 goes to smoke one. I tried drinking milk, I heard someone say the flavours are incompatible and so might help the craving, safe to say I managed to get over that one, and keep smoking. Saturday 22 Oct:The day after the night before. I was very hung over and tired. I find it very easy not to smoke when I'm hung over, I really don't fancy a smoke. (Not a serious long term solution though) All day I smoked about 5 cigarettes. Friday 21 OctWasn't thinking to much about my nicotine intake, all day. Friday is one of my nights out, and so after work went straight out to the pub and then on to a club until about 4 in the morning. No chance cutting back when surrounded by other smokers and drunk: basically I chain smoked all night maybe 20 + all night
